For Dry January, I wanted to create a few mocktail recipes for you to enjoy! You may be wondering, what’s Dry January?
It’s when people refrain from drinking alcohol. Now this can be for a variety of reasons. At the start of the new year, many people are thinking through their wellness goals and it’s been proven that reducing alcohol intake can help maximize your weight loss goals.
Others may refrain from it as a test to their personal discipline. While some use this time to reevaluate their relationship with alcohol. Some people have shared with me that they found themselves turning to alcohol to cope with stress, especially during the pandemic. So by eliminating alcohol, they can help to reduce their dependence on it to cope with things surrounding them.
Now let’s get into this recipe!
I LOVE mimosas! They are a breakfast and brunch staple.
I’ll be honest, every other flavor of mimosa is my favorite over the traditional orange juice mimosa. Now, don’t get me wrong, I know it’s a classic. But with so many other flavors of juice, they really elevate the drink. That’s why you NEED to try this mango peach non-alcoholic mimosa!
Before, pineapple mimosas were my favorite, but now this is!
Here’s what you’ll need:
V8 Splash’s Mango Peach Juice (This juice is seriously delicious!)
Garnishes: Mango Slices and Limes
Before you serve, make sure to place your juice and brut in the refrigerator for a few hours, so it’s cold. I love to set up a beautiful mimosa bar. Check out my blog post on how to set up a mimosa bar.
Next, set out your garnishes and glasses. I like to make my mimosas fresh. So I pour the juice into a nice pitcher and display the sparkling brut. Transferring your juice from the container to a nice pitcher is a very simple way to elevate the experience. For glassware, I am using my double-wall champagne flutes.
When it's time to serve, I pour the juice, then pour the sparkling brut over the top then garnish.
This is a super simple and yummy recipe that I’m sure you’ll love! Make sure to tag me on Instagram if you give it a try!
